1. America’s Parade – Also known as the New York City Veterans Day Parade, it’s the biggest on in country. United States Air Force is the featured branch this year. More than 30,000 participants will march north on Fifth Avenue from 26th Street starting at 11:15 a.m. Opening ceremony will be held preceding the parade at Madison Square Park at 10:00 AM and spectators are invited to attend the ceremony and gather along the route to watch the parade.

2. Veterans Day Observance on 11th Nov. will be from 8AM to 10AM at Fox Valley Lutheran High School, Appleton. A complimentary breakfast will be served by the FVL Student Council to the veterans, current military personnel and their families.

3. Veterans Day Ceremony will be held by Fox Valley Veterans Council at 11AM, November 11 at the Outagamie County Courthouse, 410 S. Walnut St., Appleton.

4. Events in Middleborough:-

  • Veterans Day Church Service – Will be at the First Congressional Church on Sunday November 5th 2018 at 10:30. Attendees need to be there before 10:15.
  • Simeon L. Nickerson American Legion Poppy Drive – Drive will run from Monday November 6th 2018 until the end of the dedicated day Saturday November 11th 2018.

  • Middleborough Veterans’ Day Breakfast – The annual Veterans’ Day breakfast for the Middleborough Veterans and a guest will be on Wednesday November 8th 2018 at 9:00am at the Middleborough VFW. Veterans need to reserve a seat till Monday 6th November and let know whether coming by yourself or with the guest.

5.Keyser Veterans Day Parade – Veterans Day Parade will be held by the Boyce-Houser Post 41 American Legion in Keyser at noon on Friday, Nov. 10, 2018. Gathering will begin near the Keyser water plant along Harley Staggers Drive at 11:30 a.m. The parade route will be heading north on South Main Street through the downtown area, then turning right on Armstrong Street and proceeding past the courthouse and will end at Water Street.
